How to Enter Cheats in Theme Hospital (PC / MS-DOS)

To unlock the cheat engine in Theme Hospital, you must type a master code inside the Fax Machine prompt when a notification arrives.

1. Wait during gameplay until you receive a Fax (a pop-up notification on the lower-left corner).
2. Click on the notification to expand and open the Fax Machine window.
3. On the fax keypad or prompt screen, carefully type the master activation code: 24328
4. Click on the green "Send" (V) button at the bottom of the fax layout.
5. If done correctly, a small confirmation chime will sound. You have now permanently unlocked the developer cheat mode for that level.

Full Cheat List & Hotkeys (Use during gameplay after activation):

• shift + c – Instantly grants you +$10,000 cash directly to your bank account (can be spammed repeatedly for infinite money).
• ctrl + c – Instant Research (Immediately completes all active research programs for rooms, equipment, and medical upgrades).
• f11 – Instantly fails the current level and triggers the "Game Over" bankruptcy sequence.
• f12 – Instantly wins the current hospital level and moves you straight to the next stage of the campaign.
• ctrl + shift + c – Instantly unlocks all rooms, clinics, diagnostics facilities, and cure equipment templates regardless of your campaign progress.

The "Hidden Level" Secret (The Rat Shooting Level):

To unlock a special retro arcade mini-game called The Rat Shooting Level at the end of your current map:

• Intentionally focus on finding and clicking on the small rats running around your corridors. If you shoot and click on roughly 30 to 40 rats consecutively during a single level, the game will automatically launch you into a full-screen arcade rat-hunting game as soon as you win or complete that stage.
