Type these codes at the Main Menu. You will hear a confirmation sound if entered correctly:

• elnino: Unlocks the "El Niño" (the ultimate secret supercar).
• merc: Unlocks the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR.
• jag: Unlocks the Jaguar XJR-15.
• empire: Unlocks the secret "Empire City" track.
• allcars: Unlocks all pursuit and bonus cars in the game.
• rushhour: Dramatically increases traffic density.
• go01-go99: Performance boosters (go99 is the absolute maximum speed).
• mcrae: Changes physics to "dirt-track" style (loose handling like a rally car).
• madland: Opponents become extremely aggressive.
• slip: Reduces tire grip (Ice/Slippery mode).

Police Mode (Hot Pursuit) Cheats

Use these to unlock police variants of cars:

• up0: Unlocks all basic pursuit cars.
• up1: Unlocks the El Niño Police car.
• up2: Unlocks the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Police car.
• up3: Unlocks the Jaguar XJR-15 Police car.
