Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart's Super Off Road uses DOSBox Screen Mirror Netplay in the IPX Web Lobby. This is a shared-screen session, not a native IPX multiplayer connection. The host runs the DOS game in DOSBox and shares its video with joining players; player input is sent to the host.

The lobby specifies UDP for input and TCP for video. Open the required ports in your firewall/router. Coordinate the game session and control hand-offs with the other players in the room.

Full Cheat List & Strategic Exploits:

• The Infinite Money Glitch (Upgrade Screen) – When you finish a race and enter the Speed Shop to buy upgrades (Shocks, Tires, Blasters, Nitro), you can manipulate the buying logic. On certain PC versions, if you click the purchase button for an upgrade and quickly press the ESC key or change menus simultaneously, the game will grant you the item without deducting cash from your bank balance.
• The "Zero Dollar" Nitro Top-Up – If you completely run out of money and Nitro, intentionally place last in a race. The game features a rubber-band balance mechanic that often awards a single free Nitro boost package or a small $10,000 pity bonus to the lowest-ranking human player so they can stay competitive.
• Skipping Upgrades for Maximum Speed – The ultimate strategic "cheat" to beat the aggressive AI (especially the grey and blue trucks) is your upgrade order. Do not balance your spending. Spend every single dollar exclusively on Top Speed (Engine) and Tires first. Shocks are mostly cosmetic, and Nitro is useless if your base truck speed cannot maintain the lead on straightaways.
• The Ultimate Corner Cutting Exploit – The physics engine in the early DOS version has weak boundary tracking on hairpin turns. If you approach a tight corner with high speed and activate a Nitro boost right before hitting the inside wall, your truck will frequently glitch through the collision barrier instead of bouncing off, allowing you to bypass entire corners and shave seconds off your lap time
