To use cheats in Dungeon Keeper, you must look for Special Hidden Boxes (hidden items scattered across specific maps) that trigger various effects when picked up by your imps.

Alternatively, you can access the developer cheat mode by launching the game via the command line or DOSBox with the parameter -level followed by a level name.

Command Line Level Selector

Launch the game using: keeper.exe -level levelxx (Replace xx with the level number, from 01 to 20 for the main campaign, or 21 to 35 for The Deeper Dungeons).

Hidden Map Boxes (In-Game Secrets)

• Locate Hidden World – Unlocks a hidden secret level on the world map after you complete the current mission.
• Increase Level – Instantly raises the experience level of all your current creatures by 1.
• Make Safe – Permanently solidifies and reinforces all dirt walls inside your entire dungeon.
• Reveal Map – Completely removes the fog of war and reveals the entire map layout.
• Steal Creature – Allows you to select and kidnap one random creature from an enemy keeper.
• Resurrect Creature – Automatically brings your last deceased creature back to life.
• Transfer Creature – Allows you to bring one selected creature with you into the next mission.
