PC Cheats & Unlockables

In the PC version of Daytona USA Deluxe, extra actions are mapped to specific gamepad buttons (like Xbox controllers). Using a keyboard can be tricky because these actions are strictly hardcoded to controller configurations.

Unlockable Vehicles & Characters

• Daytona Bonus Car: Finish in1st place on all tracks in a normal race on Normal difficulty.
• Uma (The Horse): Finish in 1st place on all forward tracks under Hard difficulty.
• Uma2 (The Grey Horse): Finish in 1st place using "Uma" on all tracks in a normal race under Normal difficulty.

Main Menu Button Codes

(Requires a mapped controller)

• Unlock the Original Car: On the main menu, hold Down + X + Y + Z (or their mapped gamepad equivalents) and press Enter to select Arcade mode.
• Unlock Uma: After unlocking the original car, go to the main menu, hold Down + Y + Select, and select Arcade Mode.

In-Game Secrets & Easter Eggs

• Dinosaur Canyon Shortcut: Turn your car around at the starting line and drive up the ramp on the right.
• Time Bonus: Just before the final bend of the Beginner track, you will see a slot machine hanging above. Drive underneath it and press the View Change button three times to stop the reels. If you hit 777, you get 7 seconds added to your timer.
